Step-by-Step Guide
Follow these steps to connect your WhatsApp account to BotSailor using the Embedded Signup feature:
- Log into your BotSailor account.
- Open your browser and access your BotSailor dashboard.
- Navigate to “Connect Account” under WhatsApp section.
- Locate the Connect Account option from the sidebar.
- Click on the WhatsApp option in the menu. This will bring you to the WhatsApp integration settings page.
- Find the "Connect WhatsApp" button or option labeled with One Click Business Integration. This is the starting point for the connection process. You will find two options to connect WhatsApp with or without catalog permission. Choose according to your needs.
- Click the button to initiate the connection. You’ll be redirected to a Facebook login page.
- Fill Up your Facebook Business information. Use the account that has admin access to your Facebook Business account.
- Select your setup to connect with the WhatsApp method. You’ll see a prompt asking for choosing options like connect with an existing WhatsApp Business app or start with a new WhatsApp phone number.
- Select your WhatsApp Business account. If you manage multiple accounts, choose the one you want to connect.
- Follow any additional on-screen instructions (Catalog permission). This may include verifying your phone number, selecting catalogs for your WhatsApp or agreeing to WhatsApp’s terms and conditions.
- Save the connection. Once verified, BotSailor will finalize the link. Save any settings if prompted.
- Verify the connection. Check your BotSailor dashboard to confirm your WhatsApp account is linked. You’re now ready to create bots and automations!

Error When Clicking "Finish"
- Cause: Missing or denied permissions on Facebook.

Is embedded signup a one-time process?
Yes. After successful setup, your number stays connected unless you manually remove or revoke it from your Meta Business Manager or BotSailor account.
Can I reconnect later if I accidentally disconnect my number?
Yes. Simply go through the embedded signup again or use the Reconnect option in the BotSailor WhatsApp settings panel.
Is embedded signup free?
